April Stitch Fix Review

As always, I pay for this Fixes myself. If you’d like to give Stitch Fix a try, I’d appreciate you using my referral link to sign up. You save a kitten every time you use that link. Think of the kittens, people.

Spring may finally be arriving in Western New York. Maybe. It’s going to be 64 today. So, naturally, I have the windows open and music blasting. Unfortunately, it’s not going to last. It’s supposed to snow again this weekend. You know, in April. Because that should be an acceptable choice for Mother Nature to make.

Thankfully, a little blast of Spring arrived in my Stitch Fix this month. This is actually my second box this month. I had requested a ton of color and Spring fashion and I received a lot of dark clothes I saw in Fall/Winter Fixes, so I sent it all back. Luckily, the Stitch Fix customer service team is awesome and expedited a new Fix.

I was also hoping for a piece or two I could wear to Mom 2.0 at the end of this month. It’s in Arizona. A place that has SUNSHINE AND WARM WEATHER. Sorry, I got a little too excited there.

I mean, can you blame a girl? It’s been a long, dark, cold winter and I am in serious need of Vitamin D.

As a small warning to anyone attending Mom 2.0, though, please don’t run when you see how pale my legs are. The poor things haven’t seen the light of day since September. They’re sad. I’m hoping a few hours at the pool will turn them from iridescent white to a least a little bronze. I am contemplating self-tanner, just so I don’t blind anyone.

Pale legs or not, I can not wait to get to Arizona and hug some necks I haven’t seen in the longest time (or ever, because that happens when your friends live in your computer.)

Now, if you’ll excuse me, “Take on Me” just came on and I’m going to Molly Ringwald dance while the sun streams into my office. You know you do it, too.

Oh, and I’m probably keeping this entire Fix. The pink top is a little large on me, but it doesn’t look sloppy (except for the fact that I didn’t steam anything prior to taking photos this time #lazy) and it makes more financial sense to keep it all than to return one item. Jury is still out.
