Last week, Carnival announced the addition of a new port of call for select itineraries: Princess Cays.
About Princess Cays
Located on the southern tip of the island of Eleuthera in The Bahamas and operated by Carnival’s sister company Princess Cruises, Princess Cays features white sand beaches, shops, an observation tower, and a complimentary barbecue lunch for all passengers. You can choose to rent a private bungalow, tour the 40-acre complex on a dune buggy, take a glass bottom boat tour, or participate in a variety of watersports. Princess Cays is accessible via tender.
Princess Cays will be featured on the following Carnival itineraries in 2017: select seven-day cruises aboard Carnival Pride from Baltimore; five-day voyages aboard Carnival Ecstasy from Charleston, S.C.; eight-day sailings on Carnival Conquest from Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; five-day voyages on Carnival Elation from Jacksonville, Fla.; four- day voyages aboard Carnival Liberty from Port Canaveral, Fla.; and four-day cruises aboard Carnival Sensation from Miami.
Carnival plans to double its stops to Princess Cays in 2018.
Savings for military members
Carnival Cruise Lines hosts more military and veteran cruisers than any other cruise line in the world. It’s no wonder, with their generous military discounts. Unlike many other major cruise lines, Carnival allows you to book military discounted cruises well in advance and guests can book additional cabins at the reduced rate, which is great for larger families.
Carnival also extends their military discounts to Canadian military members.
Military discounts are available for several itineraries featuring stops at Princess Cays. You can check their military discount calendar for available sailings. After a quick glance, it looks as though the military discount sailings to Princess Cays begin with the May 20th sailing on the Carnival Elation out of Jacksonville, FL.
