One month of #YearofTarget down, eleven more months to go! Here are some of my January favorites I purchased at Target last month:
Camo Sweater: I found this sweater on clearance during my first #YearOfTarget trip. I’ve worn it several times since then. Camo is a great neutral and it’s going to look great in spring when I can pair it with a pair of colorful flats.
I always purge my makeup at the start of every new year. There’s something fun about all-new makeup. I had to find some replacements for brands I can’t purchase at Target, but so far I’m really happy with what I’ve found. My friend Emily turned me onto NYX’s BB Cream and I am in love. It blends perfectly, has just the right amount of coverage for every day, and doesn’t make my skin break out. I’m already a NYX Butter Gloss addict, so I just see it as continuing my NYX love affair.
The Batiste Dry Shampoo is an old favorite. It’s one of the few products I use until the container is empty and immediately repurchase. The cherry scent is my favorite. Batiste leaves my hair feeling clean and refreshed and never leaves a residue. What I’m saying is it’s basically the best dry shampoo ever created.
The rest are basics: toothpaste, contact solution, shampoo/conditioner, and SweeTart Hearts. Yes, they’re a basic necessity until February 14th. Back off.
Things I wish I bought, but didn’t:
Will Run For Wine shirt from Chin-up Apparel.
Maybe this is the motivation I need to get me through training for April’s challenge? Or maybe I need one that says “Will run for beer” because I’m more of a beer girl. Either way, I kind of love the shirt.
Merona Popover Top
I was looking for a new shirt for girl’s night out and came across these Popover tops from Merona. They’re soft and I love how it looks tucked or untucked. It’s going to be a definite purchase sometime this month.
I have a few more January favorites to show you next week, too, including a new favorite basic tee that will transition perfectly from winter to spring to summer. I also ordered the Target Beauty Box yesterday, so look for a post/video unboxing once it arrives.
Annnnnnnd, there’s that little cruise we’re going on next week. I’m hoping to pick up a few cruise basics in the next week or two. We’ll see how many pieces my budget will allow.
What were some of your favorite style and beauty purchases in January? What types of pieces would you like to see me feature for next month’s favorites? Leave a comment below and let me know!
