Going Cruising on the Carnival Splendor with Sam Hunt And Carnival LIVE

A special thanks to Carnival for hosting me onboard the Carnival Splendor featuring Carnival LIVE with Sam Hunt. I was not required to write this post and all opinions are my own.

Next month, I’m heading to Miami for a six-night cruise on board the Carnival Splendor. This won’t be just any cruise, however. This cruise features a special Carnival LIVE concert with country music star Sam Hunt while we’re docked in Cozumel, Mexico.
Yes, you read that right. I’ll be trapped on a boat, in Mexico, with tropical drinks, and Sam Hunt. Someone has to take one for the team.

What is Carnival LIVE?

Carnival LIVE brings amazing entertainment to the high seas. On select Carnival sailings, you can get up close with your favorite musicians and comedians while the boat is docked in Nassau, Cozumel, Grand Cayman or Montego Bay. We’re talking really intimate settings with only 900 to 1,300 tickets available (depending on the ship and theater.)

Is Carnival LIVE included in your cruise fare?

No. Tickets for Carnival LIVE events do cost extra. Typically, tickets start at $30 and up. A limited number of VIP tickets are available ($100 and up, depending on the artist.) The VIP experience includes a pre-concert photo with the artist, premium seating, and a VIP reception area.

Remember, this is a rare chance to see one of your favorite artists in an intimate setting. It’s not your typical concert experience. Tickets will sell out in advance. Carnival LIVE sailings take place on days when the ship is docked in port into the evening, so even if you don’t head to the concert, you’ll still be able to enjoy your port and the rest of your ship’s offerings.

Coming to Carnival LIVE in 2017

The Carnival LIVE lineup for 2017 is already taking shape with some amazing talent. Little Big Town, Tim McGraw, Jeff Foxworthy, and Jay Leno have added their names to several sailings next year. You can check out all of the Carnival LIVE sailings  and book your vacation online now.

Stay tuned as I share more about the Carnival Splendor, our amazing ports of call, and the Carnival LIVE experience.
