Travel Style: Air Travel Version

My air travel over the past couple years has consisted of flights of two hours or less.  Short flights are easy to dress for…my favorite pair of jeans, a top and cardigan.

Next week I’ll have a two hour flight, a connection, and a six hour flight to contend with.  And, I’ll be flying at night.  This means jeans are a no-go.  I don’t know about you, but trying to sleep on a plane in jeans is just not my idea of a good time.

Instead, I’m going to opt for comfort, but not “just rolled out of bed and into the airport” comfort.  Because a girl still needs to look her best, even at midnight 20,000 feet above the Plains states, right?  I’m not a huge yoga pants person, unless I’m actually doing yoga {let’s pretend I actually practice my yoga skills instead of letting my kids use the mat as a makeshift boat, ok?}, but I do love a cute pair of black leggings.

Air Travel Style: Mama of All Trades

{Hey it’s my first Polyvore layout! Woot!} The majority of this collection can be found at Target. I swear my wardrobe is becoming a Target ad.  I’m so impressed with their clothing lately. The only item that can’t be found at Target is the fantastic Hilary Duffle from SCOUT by Bungalow.

Thanks to Airtran being ultra-sucky and charging $25 each way for a checked bag, I am traveling to Cali with only a carry-on. I know, I’m crazy. Four days worth of clothes and accessories into one carry-on is insane.  But, the Hilary is going to make it so easy to fit it all into one stylish, practical bag.  I am going to show you just how much stuff can fit in this amazing bag in a future blog post.{and trust me, it’s a LOT} If it’s wrong to be in love with your carry-on bag, I don’t want to be right.

What’s your travel style for a long flight?  Do you have any essential must-have items on your travel list?  Do tell!

Disclosure: This post contains affiliate links.  SCOUT by Bungalow sent me the Hilary Duffle and an accessory bag to review. No other compensation was received.  I don’t work for Target, although I wish I did.
